Edirne, Turkey

16 Oct

Edirne is a small turkish town near the border with Bulgaria and Greece. Located in a strategic place, the old Adrianopolis retained yet some touristic places including one of the three largest mosques in the world.

The mosque is interesting and there is a small bazaar where you find all kinds of souvenirs and clothing, but does not take long to visit and, once you have seen Istanbul nowhere seems enough beautiful.

If you are making a tour around the country is a nice place to see but not enough to spend more than a day.

Of course there are several typical turkish food restaurants and the place has its charm, but little else.

The fact is that Spanish students love travelling and any city, even if it’s small, will be welcome for us.
